I have spent ten years in the coffee industry and loved every minute of it. Barista. Production roaster. Head roaster. Coffee director. Q Grader. Each one shaped how I think about coffee. But roasting is where everything came together for me. Profiling a new coffee, dialing it in, and finding that moment where each coffee shines best and sharing it with everyone around me, that is what I live for. And that is what Lohner Coffee is all about.
Every couple of weeks, we drop a new, limited release. Each one is chosen because it has something worth saying, a process, an origin, a flavor profile that genuinely stands out. We don't release coffee just to release it. When a bag goes up, it's because we're excited about it and think you will be too.
But the coffee is only part of it. With every release, we pull back the curtain on how we got there, the test batches, the decisions, the trade-offs. We want you to understand what you're tasting and why it tastes that way. That means sharing our approach, our roast profiles, and our thought process, so every cup becomes part of a bigger conversation.
We also believe great coffee is meant to be shared, and that means keeping it within reach. Exceptional coffee shouldn't be reserved for a select few. We keep our prices accessible so that more people can taste what specialty coffee is truly capable of, and pass it along to someone else.
